Overview
This project will characterise the microstructural evolution and determine the relationships between the microstructure and the mechanical properties of new titanium alloys in biomedical applications. The research topic of this project can also be the surface modification or biocompatibility assessment of titanium alloys.

$31,260 for three years.

Eligibility
To be eligible for this scholarship you must:
- Have a Master by Research degree or
- A Master by Coursework degree with a significant research component graded as high distinction or equivalent or
- An Honours degree achieving first-class Honours in engineering or science or another suitable field.
Candidates of Australian citizen or permanent residence are preferred.
