Speaker Introduction:
Prof. Adeel is currently working at Beijing Normal University Zhuhai. He completed his PhD from China Agriculture University (Top 5th ranked University in world subject ranking) and was selected as distinguished associate professor through 1000 global hunt program of China. He is the youngest associate prof. of his school. He recently developed his small research team and started teaching a course entitled Nanotechnology – Fundamentals and Applications. Dr. Adeel has expertise in the accumulation and toxicity of manufactured nano-objects (MNOs) in plants and soil organisms as well as their fate and disposition in the terrestrial environment.
He has a broad overview of nano-enabled agriculture, specifically on the nano-bio interface. His work has been published in ACS: Nano, Journal of Hazardous Material, Environment International, Science of Total Environment, Nano impact, Environmental Pollution, Journal of Agricultural Food Chemistry and so on. He is the recipient of 2019 CAU Excellent International Student award, 2020 Best Researcher Award by Pakistan embassy in Beijing, CAU and Excellent Thesis award, 2021 by CAU. so far, Dr Adeel has published more than 60 research articles in world-leading journals with H-index of 23 and more than 1800 citations.
