Mr. Hardin, a future doctor of pharmacy, provides services as a content writer for scientific and technical niches.

Elon Musk is a known name to everyone. The S.E.O. of Tesla and SpaceX is now the owner of social media giant Twitter.

The agreement was finalized on Monday, April 5, 2020, when Twitter handed itself over to the world’s richest man. After a week of controversy, he finally bought it for $44 billion, $54.20 a share.

He said he wanted to make Twitter a private company and give it freedom of speech. While discussing the deal, Mr. Musk stated, “free speech is the bedrock of a functioning democracy, and Twitter is the digital town square where matters vital to the future of humanity are debated.”

A dramatic conflict

When the agreement closed, he began expressing his critical views about the chief persons of the company on Twitter.

He opposes a decision made by Twitter in which they blocked an article by New York Post about U.S. President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter. He called it “incredibly inappropriate.”

“Suspending the Twitter account of a major news organization for publishing a truthful story was obviously incredibly inappropriate”

The billionaire shared another reply with his 87 million followers on commentator Mike Cernovich’s tweet that discussed Jim Baker’s past work with the FBI. He said, “Sounds pretty bad …”

In response to that, one of the ex-CEO Dick Costolo tweeted what the new billionaire owner is doing, about giving raise to “harassment and threats.”

what’s going on? You’re making an executive at the company you just bought the target of harassment and threats.

Additionally, he stated, “Bullying is not leadership.”

Then afterward, currently working as the CEO of Twitter, Parag Agrawal tweeted. He talked about his agenda to work in this company and encouraged those who were doing good work.

What changes does he want to make?

The most important thing he wants to change is to give freedom of speech on this platform. He has already criticized Twitter for raising censorship and restricting people’s ability to express themselves. He wants Twitter to be a forum where everyone can express their feelings freely.

He desires Twitter as a private corporation. Hence, he could perform the goals that he has planned for the company.

He also stated in a tweet that Twitter messages should have end-to-end encryption that no one should be able to peek in on your conversations. He’s planning to make your talks completely private.

He is trying to add a Twitter edit button so that people who have already sent tweets can go back and edit them.

He’s planning to pay Twitter blue users with his cryptocurrency, dogecoin.

Consequences

Right now, we can barely guess whether Elon Musk will be beneficial or detrimental to millions of Twitter users.

According to what he has said, he wants to provide people freedom of speech, an edit button, and a slew of other profitable enhancements to Twitter. So I think it would be a good decision for Twitter if an ambitious and sharp person like Elon Musk has decided to own it.
