Have you prepared your luggage, are you ready for hangout? I got up at 3 am listening to this alarm call by my dear friend Adeel that there is a lock down and we have to take the last train. Actually we decided to travel in Corona time and in the first holidays of our first job straight after Ph.D.

Because of the city lockdown, we chose to take a flight from another city. We managed to arrive there after 8 hours waiting at the train stations. The train was running at the speed of 320 km/hour toward our destination and at the same time our hearts had mixed feelings of joy and anxiety as we were on the way toward unknown destinations and unknown journeys in COVID times. Due to Zero COVID policy in China, means you can be stuck anywhere anytime depending on the pop up of Corona cases.

I think for most folks, the biggest barriers to travel are time and money, somehow we  have overcome them but COVID fear is the major player that prevents us from traveling for the last few years. We finally decided to overcome this FEAR and start the journey as a bonus of life and the biggest adventur .

This was a truly unplanned hangout which was decided in hustle and I can’t forget the taunting word of my Chinese friend that your life is like a refugee and I accept it as it was true for the last 10 years.
