CURRENT RESEARCH

Currently, research aims are to assess the different plastic materials effects on agricultural crops. The cellular and sub-cellular distribution of plastic in crops are the focus of current research.   

PAST RESEARCH

Previous work was done on spatial distribution of the irrigation water and nitrogen in soil to improve water-nitrogen use efficiency. Crop modeling tools were used to investigate the impacts of management strategies and climatic variability on resource use efficiencies and crop productivity. Lateral spacing in drip irrigation to maximize the productivity by conserving groundwater. Furthermore, phytoremediation of the environmental pollutants and their fate in soil and in environment was also assessed.
