- Programming for collecting data from optical devices and developing proper data transfer, calibration and data analysis codes
- Image analysis for depth and distance measurement
- Developing SOP for experiments and data collection
- Working, communicating, and collaborating with a cross-functional team of engineers and animal scientists
- May be involved in conceptual design and mechanical and optical design for the target device
- Writing progress reports and creating technical documentation
- Collaborate with the larger research team to explore concepts and drive optical system development to create compelling experiences
Eligibility:
The candidate must meet Mitacs program eligibility criteria for postdoctoral fellows. The applicant should be within 5 years of their PhD date of graduation and must be legally entitled to work according to the relevant provincial legislation and regulations.
