Eligibility
1. The applicant must have a Ph.D. degree in earth sciences or oceanography.
2. The applicant needs to be a Ukrainian citizen.
Procedure of application
Step 1. Please send CV and publication list to Dr. Yu-Shih Lin ([email protected]).
Step 2. The qualified applicant will be invited to prepare a short research proposal for the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) in Taiwan. The topic of the proposal should be related to the topics outlined above.
Step 3. MOST will review the proposal and announce the result within one month after proposal submission. If funded, the applicant will receive a fellowship for 3 months (minimum duration of the research stay) to one year, and has the possibility to extend for 2-3 years according to the research performance.
Fellowship
1. Salary: a minimum of NTD 66,950 (USD 2,290) per month
2. Flight tickets: round-trip tickets (economy class) for 2 people (the applicant and spouse/parent/child)
