Job Description:
Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
A post-doctoral position is available at Iowa State University to work on a project that integrates on-farm research, data science and mathematical and statistical modeling. The emphasis will be on nutrient budgets, soil carbon dynamics and agronomic management practices. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Crop Physiology, Crop Sciences, Soil Sciences, Agronomy or a related field at the time of appointment. The applicant preferred experience should be in agronomy, data science and mathematical and statistical modeling. In addition, suitable research backgrounds may include any combination of the following areas: Agronomy, Soil Science, Cropping Systems, and Statistics. This work will be conducted in collaboration with other faculty at Iowa State University and the applicant is expected to communicate their research to stakeholders in the form of written and oral presentations.
