Description
The Department of Communication at Tulane University invites applications for two, two-year non-tenure track Visiting Assistant Professor positions for scholars in communication or a related field who can teach courses in one or more of the core areas of our curriculum for the major. The appointments will begin July 1, 2022 and will have a 3-3 teaching load.
The Department of Communication specializes in the interdisciplinary and critical study of media, technology and transnational communication. With mor than 300 undergraduate majors, our faculty offer a range of theoretical, historical, and practice-oriented courses in the following areas:
- Texts and Representations
- Identities and Relationships
- Structures and Institutions

Qualifications
Qualified candidates for this position will hold a Ph.D. degree in Communication or a related field by June 30, 2022.
